The owners of the Kochi Indian Premier League (IPL) Team have exchanged a new round of accusations with IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi.
In response to IPL commissioner Lalit Modi's statement that only Kochi franchise ownership is 'doubtful', the Kochi team has reacted. Sources within the consortium claim that Lalit Modi is not coming clean on other franchises and their stakes within the company.
Elaborating more, they said they have given every minute detail regarding every stakeholder including Pan cards, Passports and Visas of all stake holders.
Lalit Modi reiterated his stance by saying that the Kochi IPL franchisees themselves did not have any idea who exactly their shareholders were. Also clarifying the issue that he was not targetting the Kochi franchise, Lalit Modi said he is ready to present all the details of all the franchises in front of the IPL governing council and there were no secret stakeholders in other franchises.
